Terms

Your responsibilities when using the directory, our moderation rules, and the boundaries between GroupHub and linked communities.

Last updated:

1. Using GroupHub

These Terms govern your use of GroupHub, a directory for discovering public community links. Creating an account or submitting content confirms that you accept these Terms and the Content Policy. If you cannot comply, do not create an account, submit content or use restricted features.

The Privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace consent where consent is separately required. You can contact GroupHub about these Terms at [email protected].

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter this agreement and be permitted to use the service where you are located. If a higher age is required for adult material or a destination platform, that higher requirement applies. Do not open NSFW destinations if you are not legally allowed to do so.

NSFW labels and outbound confirmation messages provide notice; they do not verify a visitor's age or make a restricted destination lawful in your region. You are responsible for complying with the destination platform's eligibility rules.

3. The directory and external communities

GroupHub organizes links and related public information. We do not operate the listed communities and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, Signal or a community merely because it appears in the directory.

A published, featured or verified listing is not a guarantee of identity, safety, investment quality, lawful conduct or future availability. Community titles, descriptions, membership counts, language labels and invitation status may change or be inaccurate. Any verification refers only to the scope and time of the check performed.

Opening an invitation is your choice and does not guarantee admission. Community operators control membership, conversations and their own rules. We cannot delete messages, recover payments, restore access to an external community or resolve its internal disputes.

4. Accounts and security

Provide an email address you control and keep your account information accurate. Sign-in requires a password followed by one verification method. An enabled authenticator is the default, and an email code can be used instead for ordinary sign-in. Recovery and sensitive operations may still require the authenticator. Protect your password, email account, codes and authenticator secret, and do not share or transfer your account to bypass restrictions.

Some sensitive actions require a recent sign-in. Restrictions, submission limits and security checks apply to protected features. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access or lose an authentication device. We may need proportionate verification before assisting; access recovery is not guaranteed merely because someone knows an account name.

5. Submitting and maintaining listings

You must have the right to share the invitation and the listing material. Submit an accurate, publicly shareable link, a useful description and appropriate labels. Do not expose a private community against its owner's wishes, include other people's private information or imply an endorsement you do not have.

Submissions must satisfy the Content Policy and linked platform's rules. Duplicate invitations, unavailable destinations, deceptive metadata and attempts to evade blacklists or limits may be rejected. Submission does not create a right to publication, a particular ranking, a badge or continued inclusion.

You can edit or withdraw eligible submissions through My submissions. Some states, including publication or active moderation, limit the changes available to the submitter. For corrections or removal in those cases, contact us.

6. Your material and permission to use it

You retain any rights you hold in the text and other material you submit. You give GroupHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, display, distribute through the directory, format and moderate that material as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the listing while it remains lawfully available.

This permission allows us to display listing text and links to visitors and search engines and to make corrections needed for quality or safety. It does not grant us ownership of your community or a license to its private conversations. You must not submit material for which you cannot grant the necessary permission.

Removing an account does not automatically revoke publication of a public listing. We may retain records needed for moderation, security or legal purposes as described in the Privacy notice. Information independently available from public sources may still be listed, subject to applicable rights and removal requests.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not submit prohibited content, fraudulent reports, impersonations or malicious links.
  • Do not exploit vulnerabilities, access another account, harvest private information or interfere with the service.
  • Do not manipulate engagement totals, use accounts to evade restrictions or repeatedly resubmit blocked material.
  • Do not scrape or automate requests in a way that bypasses access controls, defeats rate limits or materially disrupts the service. Public availability does not authorize reuse of personal information for spam or abuse.
  • Respect third-party rights and the rules of each destination platform.

Good-faith security reporting and criticism of a moderation decision are welcome. They do not authorize accessing other people's data or keeping a harmful exploit active.

8. Moderation, restrictions and appeals

We use manual review and configured automated rules to assess content, prevent abuse and manage moderation queues. We may correct labels, request edits, decline publication, remove badges, mark links broken, suspend or delete listings, and restrict or close accounts for policy violations or credible safety risks. Urgent action may occur before a full investigation.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we provide a reason through the submission workflow or support. We may withhold details that would expose personal information, compromise security or help someone evade safeguards. Repeated violations or malicious complaints can lead to stronger restrictions.

If a decision is mistaken, request human review through Contact. Supply the relevant URL or reference, the decision you challenge and a concise explanation. An appeal is not a guarantee of reinstatement, and good-faith reporting does not guarantee removal of a listing.

9. Closing an account and retained listings

You can request account deletion in Account settings. Successful confirmation closes account access first and queues deletion of the authentication account. Published listings remain with their account association removed; never-published submissions are withdrawn. See the Privacy notice for what remains and how to request removal of personal information.

We may close access for serious or repeated breaches, security incidents or legal requirements. Account closure does not remove an external community or automatically erase search engine copies. Terms concerning lawful retention, submitted material, disputes and liability continue to apply where their nature requires it.

10. Availability and service changes

We aim to keep the directory useful and available, but access can be interrupted by maintenance, technical failures, abusive traffic or changes made by third-party platforms. We may change or discontinue features and moderation processes. These Terms do not promise uninterrupted service or a minimum response time for ordinary support requests.

The current service does not sell community membership, handle community payments or provide investment advice. A separate commercial feature would require its own clearly disclosed conditions.

11. Responsibility and limits permitted by law

Use reasonable care before joining a community, sharing personal information, downloading files or transferring money. We do not warrant that external destinations are safe, accurate or fit for a particular purpose. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on our own service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GroupHub is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or losses arising solely from conduct of an independent community or platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other non-excludable right or liability.

These limitations do not remove mandatory consumer protections or personal data rights. If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent lawful and the remaining provisions continue to apply.

12. Updates, complaints and applicable law

The date above identifies the current Terms. We will explain material changes through the service or another appropriate notice and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have under applicable law.

For a dispute, email [email protected] with the facts and the resolution you seek. We will consider the complaint in good faith. These Terms are subject to applicable law and do not require you to waive a mandatory right to contact a regulator or bring a claim before a competent court.
